The town need a bit of TLC, but with lots of potential.
The town need a bit of TLC, but with lots of potential. Modern Art Projects was a nice surprise with a wonderful staff member that showed us around. Vetmuis Plaaskombuis is a must visit. They also sell beautiful products and produce, staff very friendly. I am sure there is much more to the town if you spend more time there.

It is a beautiful, decorated space.
It is a beautiful, decorated space. Its more than enough space/room for 4 people.
Its unfortunately located close to a very noisy area in the town - especially at night. Besides the noise factor - I would recommend this space. Definitely the most beautiful & comfortable accommodation in Richmond.

This is a very small, quaint Karoo town.
This is a very small, quaint Karoo town. The town itself is nothing to brag about but this accommodation is absolutely exceptional. We will definitely stay here again when traveling between Cape Town and Johannesburg. We had breakfast at a local spot called Vetmuis. It was delightful and the owner treated us like we were family. Food was great!

Definitely worth arriving early afternoon so you can visit the MAPSA art installations and book making project and several of the local shops. Next time we will do the Museum and bookshop. The Vet Muis was a very special coffee shop and is open from breakfast to dinner!
