Very clean and everything was in its place. Small things like setting out cushions to sit in the garden. Cleaning the room and small chocolate every day.

There is a lot of natural beauty with stunning views of wolk berge mountains near by and the local wood forests. There is a lot to see and do. At Letaba we did a river boat cruise, saw wild animals that were tamed for the film industry (very well looked after) , ate delicious food, had a local coffee and lunch at Krabbefontein and went to see the Debangeni waterfalls. We also did a cheese-making tour where you can sample several cheeses made at the farm and visited the blueberry farm for blueberry pie. A beautiful place with a view is King Walden with a huge luxurious garden. Overall a wonderful destination to visit. Its also a convenient stop over to use to come back to Johannesburg from the Kruger National Park. Also great value for money. A secret gem for sure!

Not much to say about trip - it was a business trip with a one night overstay. The overstay was underwhelming as mentioned. I would not comment on what else Tzaneen has to offer. I would not go as far as suggesting avoiding Tzaneen as there are some wonderful people and good scenery.
Spotless and comfortable room, with outdoor access. Marietjie and staff were extremely friendly and helpful, pre-trip as well. She even arranged breakfast at their room's verandah so that my parents (80+) could be comfortable. Breakfast was delicious and beautifully presented on quality kitchenware. The beautiful, well tended garden provides a peaceful environment. My parents could not praise St George's Guest House enough and highly recommend it. They plan to return and use it as a base to explore the area more.
The owner couple are very friendly, they very kinds accommodated our special request. made our works so much easier.
The room are huge, it have three conformable bed, bath and shower, and kitchen with microware too. we feels like other home in Tzaneen.
We travel a lot for work aound Limpopo, so far it is the best one we have stayed.
Lovely rooms with a lovely surroundings and setting, very pretty area to visit ! There is a very convenient restaurant on the property serving fantastic home cooked food, also in a lovely setting. This is a great place to use as your home base when visiting the Tzaneen, Letsitele area. I highly recommend it !
The staff was extremely friendly and very helpful.
They accommodated my toddler as well.
The room, bedding, towels etc were clean.
I can't emphasise enough how comfortable the bed was.
The scenery is also second to none.
Overall, Coach House Hotel Tzaneen was the Perfect choice for my family getaway.
Good location and incredible view! Staff are helpful and try hard, but are not trained.
Hotel has potential and could be a lovely old-school family type hotel but unless there is new ownership and a cash injection, I dont think there is much hope which is a pity.
- The entrance is on point
- The Swimming Pool area is beautiful
- The Layout of the hotel is also on point
- The staff was so exceptional and the hospitality was amazing
- The guest house is nice and quiet
- The Generator Idea is also a good one
This place has exceeded my expectations, very clean, well kept and very quiet. It is Well located with only a few kilometers to malls and restaurants. I'd recommend to anyone wanting to explore Tzaneen and looking for a peaceful place to rest.
The location really gives a feeling of comfort, peace and tranquility. Excellent landscaping, very clean swimming pool and a dam nearby. State of the art reception area and restaurant.
The rooms have aircon.
Checking in we were most definitely taken by the awesome view from the entrance to all around the hotel. The fresh breeze from nature made it a top notch experience and the highlights of the stay.
Incredible guest house. The decor is next level. Our room was HUGE! The staff are lovely. Unbeatable value for money. Can’t wait to visit Tzaneen again to stay here!
Paceful location on the banks of the river, very quiet just the sounds of the birds and the river. Very clean and everything provided for a self catering stay
I absolutely loved everything! Every time i am traveling in Tzaneen i stay at this guest house because it is absolutely perfect! Beautiful rooms and gardens!
The breakfast was superb, the restaurant staff and hotel receptionists were great. Service was good. The oxtail was not that good but overall food was good
The house is located on an avocado farm in the rolling hills outside of Tzaneen and is a perfect stop over between Johannesburg and the northern KNP camps
