We spent 5 days in a luxury tree top tent.
We spent 5 days in a luxury tree top tent. Aside from the mattress that is a bit shot the tent is comfortable equipped with a fridge and coffee station (could do well with a bit more `kitchen` as the restaurant is the only option. There is a braai but no grid and no suitable implements.) The farm is lovely and the view from the deck was great. Giraffe spent a day browsing at the river below the tent for a day. There was always game on the plains. The game drive was great with a friendly knowledgeable driver. No big five but enough animals and views to make an interesting hour.( The lodge is a twenty minute drive from the airport, easy access for day visitors wanting to see some game or enjoy a prepared picnic. I suggest you book though as it seems quite popular) It is also only a twenty minute drive to bustling Ballito. Great place to relax and spend three or four days.NormanSouth Africa
