Our stay at the Red Barn was amazing. We had a wonderful, relaxing time with friends and the accommodation was perfect. Super clean and with everything you need to cook and braai. The beds are very comfortable wih quality bedding. Wood for the indoor fireplace and outdoor boma was provided. We only needed to take our own wood to braai with which was excellent. The 1km gravel road from the main road to the Dairy Cottage is not to bad. We were able to reach the Dairy Cottage with a VW Polo and Nissan NP 200. Claire and John are excellent hosts and allowed us to bring our small Jack Russel with. She enjoyed herself thoroughly. We will definitely recommend The Red Barn for anyone who wants to enjoy a relaxing time close to nature. The Sprinbucks grazed very close to the Dairy Cottage and there is a variety of other buck species as well. The kids explored the farm and had a wonderful time swimming in the dams. Fishing is also possible. Our friend caught a decent size bass. There is something for everyone. There is DSTV but the kids were too busy exploring to watch TV. Thank you for an unforgettable 3 days. Wished we could stay longer .

Lovely view, beautiful venue & peaceful!! We only stayed for one night in the Oak house as a family of 9! We loved the space and having dams so closely! We could fish even though we had only one night here. LOVED EVERYTHING!

The view was exelint.staff was exelint. Whe got full of tiks on the hiking traile. Tha gas stove got no gas whenwhe whant to make coffee the morning when whe whoke up.and the night when we arived there was no worm water and in the morning till the after noon. The bar only have limet stock. Only 3 bears and no propper drinks.even soft drinks.did not even got the room that we booked.

Lloyd, the butler, was at the house to meet us when we arrived and show us around. The staff we met were all very friendly and helpful. Lloyd came to make us a fire every evening as it was chilly and checked up on us in the mornings.
