The silence, the closeness to amazing nature like the beach of Praia do Vale dos Homes, the small country roads and friendly people. You have it all here. The host was very attentive and responsive to messages during my stay. As I was coming with food that would have otherwise been spoiled, I was allowed to check in earlier as there were no previous guests. The apartment was simply perfect for me in size. The bed was very comfortable. The kitchen perfect in size. The week I stayed simply flew away. In one way or another I will come back, that is for sure.

Great little apartment with everything we needed! Set a little ways on the edge of town so it felt more quiet. We appreciated having access to a washing machines though we could have used some basic instructions. The settings on the machine were unclear, but maybe we are just not familiar with machines made for European users.

At the country house, each unit is fitted with bed linen and towels. Very lovely room, big and nicely furnished, simple but beautiful decorations, tea and water are provided by hosts. Clean and well smell. Hand made soap. And the cheery on the top of the cake - warm floors heating. We received a link with recommendations about restaurants and activities in the town. My friend tried surfing, we went for dinner in restaurants like 5 mins by foot. The guest house itself is located very close to the center and around 20 mins by foot to the beach. Has enough space for parking. Host asked us questions about food preferences and our breakfast was completely perfect according for requests. Fruits, tea, coffee and fresh water are always available on the common area. Also we were invited for a dinner made by one or the hosts - she is amazing cook and it was a 5 course dinner for 30€ per person. Totally worth it!

Buffet and continental breakfast options with juice and cheese are available every morning at the country house. A coffee shop can be found on-site, and in the warmer months you can make use of the barbecue facilities. A cozy place! We felt very welcomed by the host, who was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger available room. We only stayed for one night in the low season, but can imagine it as a perfect spot for hikers making their way down the coast.
