Kat and Dirk have put so much care and love into creating a home away from home for their guests. The casita is incredibly comfortable and close to everything you might want to see or do in Placencia. We were so grateful for all the recommendations, as well as the generous use of their golf cart and paddle boards. On our last day, Kat and Dirk brought us and all our baggage to the bus stop, and made sure we had everything we needed to get back to Belize City without issue. Their hospitality made our visit to Placencia a stand-out part of our Belize vacation, and I cannot recommend their property enough.

Perfect location to walk into town. Supermarket and gorgeous bakery across the road. The beach is a stones throw away. Lovely veranda to sit on for breakfast in the morning and loungers. Well equipped modern kitchen and very comfortable beds. This was a lovely property, and I would highly recommend staying here

Cool getaway in Placencia. We were glad to be a bit north of downtown which took us about 10 minutes to get to by car. The apartment is well designed and feels even more spacious in person than in the pictures, especially the bedroom and bathroom. The upstairs TV corner gets a good breeze and you’ll be happy about the A/C at night. Loved the large shower. Zun welcomed us by message and is readily available if you need anything. This would be a perfect place to come to with two other couples, each with their own cabin but still close by.

Nice little beach hut with a 1 min walk to the private picture perfect beach. Lovely location which is what the place is all about. Clean and tidy and a no fuss approach to booking in and out. We had a very relaxing few days. The accommodation is functional and as described. Located a short drive from the main Placencia Village where there are plenty of nice places to eat and drink. We particularly liked Cha Chi's, amazing cocktails and Pizza's with 3-6 happy hour too.

Rooms are simple but have everything one needs. The property is very pleasant. Cabins are under the trees and have little veranda with chairs or a hammock. Rooms were well equipped with beach towels, coffee maker, microwave, stove and fridge. Air conditioning worked well and kept us cool. Very close walk to the beach.

Lizards visit the wonderful thatched platform. Great view (of American housing, 250k$ apiece) and swimming possible from the back step. Crocodiles apparently do come nto the village at night but rarely seen and timid. Patientia a nice low key vibe and some fairly ok fish restaurants.

The location was perfect - walking distance to great restaurants, coffee shops, juice bar, and the Municipal Pier. The little cottages were cute and cozy and enjoyed meeting folks in the "conversation circle" in the common courtyard. It was also the only place we stayed in Belize with an air conditioner which was much needed due to being in the southern part of the country and not on a beachfront property with a breeze.

The beach is clean and quiet with sand and palm trees. Cabin came with lounge chairs for the beach. And it's a very easy drive to town to get food and go out.

We felt like we were at the beach and jungle at the same time; tucked away in our own little private cave. The set up of the room is a bit different than we’re used to (toilet downstairs and shower and hand basin upstairs). The hot tub in the room is great; especially for those of us trying to avoid crowds at the beach or pool (the pool on site was also pretty empty when we stayed). Would definitely recommend staying here!
