Things I liked about the Kamloops Star Lodge Motel include its good location: This Motel has a superlative view of the skyline, and the city of Kamloops, BC! Moreover, the older architecture of the building, which include vintage touches such as a stick-like, wooden barrier on the Upper Level, leant to an eclectic and "old west-" ambience. (Now, if only I had the ability to install "saloon-style" partition-doors in my suite....)
