The amazing views of the mountains and nearby waterfalls from Chalet Protea were such a highlight. Our hosts were lovely and welcoming, and the place was perfect for our time in Wengen. It was very easy to feel at home and the chalet was well stocked with cooking utensils, oil/seasonings, etc. to allow for home-cooked meals as well. We were able to complete a load of laundry (with dryer) for 5 euros which was convenient too. We wished we could stay longer and we would love to come back, and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for a memorable stay in the Jungfrau region.

The facilities were very good and clean such as the bathroom and spacious showers. The kitchen was good and there are enough places to dine in. The cabin itself is tiny but very cosy, comfortable and convenient. We enjoyed every minute. The facilities are new and very well maintained. Beautiful and cosy studio with all necessary facilities. Delicious welcome gift was waiting for us from the owners. Both bed and sofa were very comfortable.
