Food in the restaurant was basic but good, and the atmosphere was very friendly and comfortable. A great place to order a bottle of wine and play a board game. We had a wonderful stay at Chalenko. We used the toaster oven in the cabin to heat up left-over pizza from the restaurant which worked out great. We also appreciated the tea pot and coffee available in the tiny cabin.

The beds and pillows were very comfortable. The host was nice. We communicated through Google Translate. Had a wood stove for heat, so that might be a problem for some folks. We were fine with it.

And it is close (like everything in this town) to the bus station, supermarket and the lagoon. We could directly go to the Cabaña at our arrival although check in was at 15:00 and could stay until 12:00 for check out. The bed was very comfortable.
