We absolutely loved our stay at La Cueva. Hans has created a quiet, spacious oasis a quick walk away from the beautiful Playa Playita beach and main street of Las Galeras. We loved the location, the neighborhood horses, and the cute street pups that escorted us home from town each evening under the stars. Definitely book here if you're looking for a unique property near all the things Las Galeras has to offer. Truly a magical experience.

A beautiful place and well worth the drive! we really enjoyed the bungalow, used the bbq every night, and found our hosts to be very friendly and helpful! they will book you a Whale watching tour that does not disappoint! if you have a car, you also need to check out playa Rincon! We loved the vibes of the area - natural, and laid back! a great experience and our favourite spot that we stopped at in the DR!

I loved the building (inside and outside area), beautiful and cosy. The location is perfect, a short walk from the beach. It is only one minute from the main street, where you can take a guagua to Samaná or where it drops you off. A minimarket and a fruit shop are also right on the corner of the main street. You find good restaurants nearby.

We stayed in a cabin which was lovely decorated and well kept and furnished. Even the baths very clean and nice!! Would definitely recommend and stay there again.
