The location is fantastic! I can’t say it enough. Right on the beach, very clean and comfortable. The locals were super friendly and I can’t wait to return. I had the best time.

very charming building, both the basic rooms and the Cuban-style bar - entertaining manager: Junior is numero uno! - breakfast good (though not enough bread) - rooms are quiet, even in this central location - good location in the centre of Barahona at walking distance from good restaurant, bakery, supermarket, malecon, ... - good value for money

Charming hotel with a vintage vibe. It reminded me of some pleasant budget hotels I stayed in in Barcelona about 20 years ago. Large room. Food was pretty good and hassle free, and altogether it was all very reasonably priced. There is even a cabinet of board games that you can borrow from. Staff were professional and a pleasure to deal with.
