Our stay in Polar Aurora Cabins was one of the highlights of our trip to Lapland! The cosy cabin is just magical with its roaring fire to retire in front of after a day of snowy adventures, and wooden ladder to an attic room for the kids! We started our days with a Finnish sauna - (complete with rubbing ourselves with snow!) and a coffee on the terrace. The kitchen is very well equipped so we were able to keep down our costs by cooking our meals (although other guests raved about the food prepared by Miika and Jaana in the Kota!). The kids had a blast making friends and sledging in the surrounding forest. The cabin is well out of the village, so it feels totally secluded, but of course, close enough to make visits to the supermarket. We arranged our transfers from the airport, to the supermarket and to our next accommodation with Miika, who was always on hand to help us with anything we needed during our stay. We also booked the husky experience through Polar Aurora Cabins and it was sensational! All in all, we had a fantastic experience - you won’t regret booking your stay here!

Very well equipped apartment with great location. Everything was clean and tidy and all facilities functional. We were just 2 but could easily accommodate 6 persons. As a bonus some reindeed every day on the front yard.

Even though it was advertised as a one bedroom apartment, you have a bunk bed in a 2nd room that was useful. Heating was excellent in the apartment and the Sauna as well. Drying cabinet and the sleds were quite useful. Communication with the Owner Meeri and Maintenance guy, Marko was excellent. Meeri's handbook was useful too.

The appartament was clean, small but comfortable, It was great to have a sauna and sheets to sit on while in the sauna provided. It was very quiet and very beautiful around, yet 2 mins drive from the supermaket. There was also a very helpful neigbour who guided me how to charge the hybrid car.

The sauna worked well but you have to get the hang of it a little bit. The location is like 6 mins from the city by car but that’s what we liked about it! The owner sent us instruction videos on how things work which was really nice. The kitchen was very well equipped.

The cabin where we stayed was super cozy, with a fireplace and a sauna. The perfect location to disconnect, in the middle of the snowy forest, next to a frozen river in the middle of nowhere.
