The cottage is a hidden gem. We loved everything about it. We are a retired couple traveling by bicycle with our adult daughter and young grandson. We spent 2 nights in the cottage. It is right in the middle of the city, close to everything, tucked away with its own private terrace. It was clean, quiet, nicely renovated and updated, and very comfortable. We cooked dinners and breakfasts, washed clothes, relaxed, visited the chateau and Clos Luce, shopped. It was perfect. We highly recommend the accommodation, host, and location.

Every morning at breakfast, he would introduce everyone, saying their names and where they were from. This prompted many interesting discussions. His staff were great as well. The premises had been all renovated, with the idea of retaining as much of the original features - marble fireplace, etc. The rooms and bathrooms were large and beautifully decorated and restored. A lot of love went into this place.

This place is great place to visit the Loire Castles and small towns. The hosts provided useful tips and advices for restaurants and visits. We were lodged in a privative part of the house, with two bedrooms and a separate bathroom, perfect for a familly of four.
