The location is very close to the centre of Howarth, great for visitors to the town and the Bronte museum. There's plenty of parking (we parked right outside the door). The cottage was very well decorated and the hosts had thought of everything you might need, tea, coffee, milk, kitchen equipment, logs and fire starters for the log burner. The bathroom was very modern and well appointed with a great, big, shower and of course the large, powerful, jet bath.

The log burner was easy for a novice and lovely on such a miserable day. The cottage was full of gorgeous touches like cosy throws, hot water bottles, books, games and lovely toiletries. The kitchen was very well equipped with useful extras that so many places don’t bother with like foil, spices and oil. Hosts communicated really well and were very friendly and welcoming.

Even had cakes on our arrival. There is basics in the kitchen to use for cooking meals and added bonus of a dishwasher, with 2 tablets left on arrival. The cottage is spacious and plenty of room for six of you. The bedrooms are all good sizes and there is plenty of space to hang your clothes. The cottage was very comfortable and possessed its own quirkiness, which was part of its appeal. It was just what we needed to get away from the stresses of everyday life and was the perfect place to celebrate our wedding anniversary and my wife's birthday.
