Very clean and nice decor. The beds were comfortable and warm, all the lamps worked, and the bathroom was huge and very nice. Good shower, soft towels. Nice pops of colour throughout with colourful rugs and cushions which made it feel homey. Fantastic loft room with en suite toilet. Only 10 mins into town, close to the canal and a Co-op supermarket about 5 mins walk away.

The property is in an excellent location and looks from the outside to be not much. As soon as you walk in you realise what a gem of a home it is. A perfect layout and stay for two families to enjoy. Comfortable and quirky with lovely home from home touches. We enjoyed the log burners in the evening and we had all the amenities we needed for a group of 7 ageing 3-65 years of age! We will definitely be back. The only fault we found was that our car a Volvo was too low to get onto the steep slope at the beginning of the drive. Luckily we found a spot to park for two nights by talking to the shop keepers nearby.

We stayed in the ‘Skylark’ cabin and it was so cosy and unique. When walking in, there was some calming music playing on the radio and the hosts had left us a lovely note and some homemade brownies to enjoy. The cabin was well equipped with everything we needed. Couldn’t have asked for more. We loved staying here!
