We had everything we needed; it was spacious but cosy, the kitchen is really good and there’s plenty of seating to relax on. Location is excellent - a few minutes walk from the seafront and town centre, and in the opposite direction lovely walks.

The property was tucked away in a small street and was very quiet. The walk to the town centre was short and easy. The kitchen was well equipped. The heating system and hot water supply was very good. A cosy and well situated property !!

We loved the cottage, could not fault anything, the only thing I would say is on arrival to the park the fence at the front is in definite need of relacement, that's the first thing you see, also we thought the site was tired, needed updating. The rubbish was overflowing and hadn't been emptied all the week we were there. Apart from that the cottage was lovely. We really enjoyed our stay.

The cottage was peaceful, clean and comfortable.The only criticism being that it would have been nice to have a small selection of books and DVDs on offer for guests.(There are a few charity shops in Sidmouth where guests could buy these). It wasn't a big deal though. :) I would recommend Cider Cottage to families. It is nicely furnished and very cosy.

We were upgraded to The Diary one of the self catering cottages as it provided a cooler room during the heatwave.
