Location excellent. Perfect for visiting brooklands. 10 min walk to train station to get train to central London (takes 30 mins). Cottage had everything we needed for our stay. Sofa bed surprisingly comfortable. Lovely peaceful setting. Host Xanthe is amazing, couldn't do more for you to make sure we had a great stay.

On the whole we had a reasonably good experience in this historic building, staying in a front room in the main building, with four poster, panelled walls and a fireplace. The public areas were attractively decorated and furnished and the staff could not have been more helpful and friendly at breakfast and evening meals. The food was good.

About a week after I booked, I had to change the dates of my stay, and she managed to accommodate me, which I truly appreciate. The place was cosy, clean, and quiet. Also, Claire made it easy to communicate on WhatsApp. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Artist's Hideaway and highly recommend staying there.
