I had the pleasure of staying at Winterfell Chalet during my last day in Mestia, and I must say that I was thoroughly impressed with my experience. As someone who has visited the area for the past four years and stayed in various hotels and guesthouses, I can confidently say that Winterfell Chalet is a cut above the rest. While there are certainly areas where the chalet could improve, small details and the service, I have no doubt that the team at Winterfell is dedicated to continually improving their guests' experience. And that's why I'm giving them a perfect score of 10. And most likely I will be back next year!

I do not even know where to start. Everything was perfect. Location is surreal, cottage has everything and more that you might need for relaxing stay, it is perfect combination of modern and comfortable atmosphere. Hosts are something out of the world, very kind, helpful always asking whether we need anything they tried to make our stay as best as possible, huge thank you to Bela and Beka for very pleasant days.

I lived in this cottage for seven days. It was beautiful and wonderful days. My family and I were received by the mother and her daughter, where we were told by the owner of the cottage. The cottage is clean and new and it is safe as it has surveillance cameras. The cottage consists of a hall, a small kitchen with utensils, a bathroom that has a washing machine, and two rooms on the second floor. The sofa can be made on the first floor as a third bed, so that there are three beds. The hostess was very helpful and cooperative, as I asked for an extra bed and an electric heater, and they were provided for me. I thank them for their cooperation and beautiful service. I will definitely return again, God willing.

Everything is as shown in Booking. Location is close to the nature, in the meantime, not far from the downtown by walking. we could wake up with a spectacular view of hills. Kitchen is also well-equipped. Zura, the owner, provided every help when we asked for during a stay. Wifi is quite stable considering about the area it’s located. most importantly, his cat, Woody, is so much adorable. we spent a good time playing with him in the front yard.

The food was amazing and the restaurant menu offered a broad variety of Georgian and special Svanetian dishes. The breakfast was rich, combining freshly prepared salads and hot snacks. Massi, their family dog may be impressive in his appearance but he is certainly one of the most relaxed and kid-friendly dogs we have ever met. Our two year old daughter loved him.

The place is charming, with two cute dogs, amazing views, awesome atmosphere, delicious breakfast, all necessary amenities. Terrace is big and nice for evening’s talks or morning coffees. Kitchen and dining room are very pleasant, with the nice view. The place is very cozy, so I can imagine that staying there in winter would be a nice experience too.
