It's hard to describe the stay here in words. The villa is positioned in a breathtaking landscape. With mountain views and panoramic lake views it is ideal. Fabulous breakfast and can be served boiled in the morning on a terrace with panoramic lake views. Very friendly staff and the "master" of breakfast a charismatic character. The images on the booking are real and everything was perfect. About 15 minutes walk to the entrance to the center, landing, port. Definitely the ideal location. Thank you for your hospitality. There were a few days when I felt like I was in paradise. The day began with the image of "awakening" the lake and the evening, with a glass of red wine, ended with the image of "sunset" on the lake.

It is an amazing place close to everything (bus stop, shop, city), yet quiet and peaceful. We stayed in the shared room and it was super comfortable and clean. Aurelia and everyone there is so lovely and always helpful. It was pleasant just to sit in the beautiful garden, and eat home-made cakes for breakfast! Would definitely come back 🥰

We loved our two-night stay at Il Convento. Lots of room for our family of five, many traditional Italian design features. Beautiful views from many of the windows, as the property is well up in the hills. Showers and beds were great. Our host, Klod, was very personable and helpful; on departure, he drove us and our nine pieces of luggage down to the boat dock (two round trips). On our arrival, Klod was otherwise occupied, so we pulled those nine pieces up a long series of charming, steep, cobblestone streets. Challenging, but that's part of the adventure of travel, isn't it? We did a lot more walking up and down the hills of Bellagio, which was a breeze without the luggage and endlessly beautiful. We would happily return there and to Il Convento in the future.

The charming decoration and the little balcony were an additional plus. I have been to many places around Europe but this apartment was one of the best! Communication with Silvia was perfect and she was very nice to meet us personally. I highly recommend this amazing place!
