Everything was spectacular!! The staff were so welcoming and attentive, the food was delicious. THE VIEWS !!!! The swimming pool, the peace and quiet, the lake.. we didn’t even pay attention to the villa itself and still it was gorgeous and comfy. But the service, the place the location. Wow! We saw buffalos from the room, a crocodile, peacocks… it was AMAZING

The property consists of a 3 bedroom villa and a one bedroom bungalow. Each bedroom is ensuite with bathtubs and outdoor rain showers that are full of tropical plants. Both the villa and bungalow have open plan living room/kitchens and private outdoor dining areas with large teak tables.

A wonderful place in the middle of nature. Access by car is difficult, but totally worth it. It was nice that a bigger Safari car was organized to meet us on the way. The manager (Gamini) is very accommodating and super friendly. We stayed Deluxe Bungalow - An incredibly specious villa. The whole area is very quiet and surrounded by beautiful nature. The property even has its own observation tower where you can enjoy the sunset in the evening and the sunrise in the morning. The food was delicious and wonderful. The BBQ bonfire dinner was very special and memorable. A perfect place to stay if you want to go on a Yala Safari. Safari offered by the hotel is a bit expensive, so consider different options if possible. All in all.. A nice place to stay in Sri Lanka for sure. A nice clean room to stay in, in between the Safaris. Unfortunately, we couldn't see the beautiful view of the lake because we got home quite late from Bundala and we left before the parks opened as we had Yala booked the next day. They arranged a breakfast for us to take to the park. The prices were unbeatable, especially with the discount I get on booking.
