Our hosts were so friendly and welcoming. Food was excellent and lots of it! The apartment was very clean, comfortable, peaceful with a great view! The walk to town is about 20 minutes down and 35 minutes back up. Its not bad at all, but hot in the afternoon and if you are out of shape...frequent pauses. That distance did put you in a perfect peaceful spot with a spectacular view of the city and the mountains around. We came here after the confusion and challenge of Fez and this was a much appreciated retreat! Highly recommend!

Everything! Superb location and neighbourhood. Truly living up to its listing name, it has modern and complete facilities to make our stay very much comfortable, while concurrently every details of this place exudes Chefchaouen’s old world charms. Breakfast was plenty and delicious. Incredible view from the rooftop. We had a really lovely family time during our stay here. Beyond that, Sam, Ghizlan and Naima were exceptionally helpful and kind. We genuinely felt that we were cared for. Hidden gem that we would definitely recommend!

Location was great. It took a kind local to contact the owner when we arrived. 52 steps from street level to terrace! Bed rather uncomfortable but very hard mattresses appear to be the norm in Morocco!

We had 3 great days at Coco Chawen Beautiful village, amazing encounters and of course wonderful host ! ADIB was helpful from the very beginning as a truck was blocking the street leading to the village He came personally by foot in the middle of the heat 😮💨! We loved having the 4 levels of this little house all to ourselves, it was always so cool, luminous and peaceful. The steps are well secured with handrails. We apprehended the proximity of the mosque but gladly discovered that the last loud prayer was around 10pm and the first one late morning 😊 Arriving by car with Waze was easy.

We had the room at the top of the building and it was very cute and comfortable. The beds were cosy, the rooms and bathrooms were super clean and the breakfast was made fresh whenever we got up before 11 am and was delicious. The garden area was really delightful too. Close to the Medina shops and restaurants, a few minutes walk, but in a quiet little area near the waterfall.
