The place was very clean and cozy. Jan passed by when we arrived to welcome us and offer any help if needed. The heating system was very good and everything worked well! I had a car, so I could go downtown, if you don't, you can go to Varberg along the seafront in a very nice walk.

Absolutely an amazing place to chill and spend your holidays. The house and the grounds are well maintained and in good condition. The small extra house is good to outsource your teenie-kids or host a part of the fellow travelers. Amazing view from the terrace on the sunset. Very close to the shore but do not expect a classic beach. Barbecue-grill available and for cool nights a cozy fireplace in the cozy living room. It is true, that the sleeping room in the attic is only accessible by a steep ladder but the beds are incredibly comfortable. The house is equipped with every little thing you will need during your stay. Comprehensive information about everything prior to arrival. Very helpful, uncomplicated and friendly hosts.

Mikael is a very sweet host and takes pride in the history of his property (preserving the wood, the wallpapers, etc.). He has a beautiful rose garden where you can eat breakfast. He provides all the ingredients and you can do anything you like, which is perfect for us (you can wake up anytime you like). It is the latest check-out time we have had. We also like the location in the outskirts and yet just a car ride away from the center. Thank you!
