What a gem!!! We absolutely loved everything about Alanta Villa: the house in the middle of the nature, attention to detail, lovely people! Yes there are monkeys, and the road up de hill is steep, and the bathroom is outdoor, but it is all part of such a unique experience!

We came by car with the kids, the hosts were very accommodating and helpful. The villa was great and we had a lot of fun with the kids in the pool. The hosts even connected us with a diving instructor so our kids could try a test dive in the pool. That was amazing. They helped us to go on trips and recommended local sights - Koh Rok was one of the best sites in the ocean for snorkeling I ever experienced, and I have about 100 dives done.

This was by far our cheapest stay so we were sceptical… but the cute little bungalows were just what we needed, yes it was dated, but it was clean, mosquito free, comfortable and very charming. We had one of the older bungalows towards the back, but everything was fine and the A/C was fantastic. The staff were friendly and the breakfast was good!
