I stayed here for 3 nights. The bangalow is simple and peaceful with the garden view. The owners are welcome and kind. They grow their fruits here. The room is comfortable and reasonable with the price. It's not far from the nice beaches, you can walk for 10-15 minutes however you might need a bike or motorbike to reach to the beaches comfortably.

Truly a chill place in a lovely enviroment. There is no private beach but the island is so small you can easily go anywhere within 15 minutes by a scooter . Host provided the scooter right after our arrival on a good price. The house is only yours and very relaxing and quiet.

Our stay at Purana was utterly sublime!!! We would go back there in a heartbeat! The highlights were: Friendly, attentive, caring staff who made us feel at home Fresh and delicious food at the hotel restaurant - we enjoyed every single breakfast and dinner they served Incredible villa with an infinity pool and a breathtaking view of the islands Comfortable bed, the whole space was well decorated and equipped Chattering birds and monkeys in the tropical forest, a very nice sound to wake and fall asleep to. I stayed in no1...Top class fixtures and fittings. Spotlessly clean. Exceptional breakfast delivered to your door each morning...fresh fruit sticky rice, coffee, all home made/prepared. Scooter delivered literally within 2mins of enquiring! Just absolutely outstanding staff and accommodation.....I can't say enough about this place. I've been traveling for 3 months and this came out of nowhere and is by far the best I've stayed in!!

This is a stunning luxury villa. We had a perfect family gathering for Christmas. The villa is extremely well appointed, modern, comfortable and spotlessly clean. Bedrooms were large and comfortable, all with en-suite. Great pool and outdoor lounging area. Quiet location with stunning views to the east, with just a short walk down to the beach. Several very good cafes and restaurants close by. Mhee, the manager was excellent - communication before we arrived was very thorough, arranging our transfer from the airport which was seamless, meals cooked at the villa for our first two days were first class, great excursions, top restaurant recommendations, and seamless transfer onwards. All the other staff were lovely and so helpful - house keeper, driver, and cooks.

Such a lovely and cozy bungalow with greenery all around and sounds of nature at night. Great price-quality ratio! Shops and plenty of affordable restaurants are nearby, as well as a neglected viewpoint, where I saw dozens of hornbills. Note that there are only fans in the room and no aircons, so it gets very hot during the day. That was not a problem for me however, since in was exploring the island or sitting on the porch at daytime.
