We travelled with my elderly parents which have difficulty with steps. Leadwood house was perfect for us due to easy access. I could drive up next to entrance of the house, with only three small steps that lead onto a beautiful porch. House was exceptionally clean, layout is spacious and furnishings of superior quality. Safe off street parking (two garages available too) with very convenient location to a variety of good restaurants and shops.

An absolute work of innovative structural art! The space was cozy, without feeling cramped. The space is decorated tastefully and modern whilst remaining minimalistic and practical. The staff were amazing, we were shown around the space and our firewood for the fire warmed hot tub never ran out. The space was immaculately clean, all linens provided was oh so soft and luxurious and definitely had us, the guests needs in mind. The host offers a few extra comforts, like complimentary freshly ground coffee as well as coffee pods, sugar, milk and drinking water - as well as delicious biscuits and rusks. There is also the fantastic and realistic idea of an honesty bar that offered a few extras like chocolates, wines, additional milk and more which was easy enough to access and payment was done in true honest form - fill in what you used and leave the cash in a jar. The area was secure, safe and very peaceful. We awoke to the chorus of bird song and the sing song of the wind gently swaying the pine tree forest. I would highly recommend the Surfers Bush Cabin to couples looking for a romantic weekend getaway, or even for close friends just to hang out and chill. The location was fantastic, although be warned, there is a short stretch of gravel road to be driven - but this too was immaculately preserved and easy enough to manoeuvre.

The hosts were very friendly and ensured they did all they could to give us the holiday we needed after such a long year! There’s wild life- we spotted antilopes and a family of giraffes from the window of our suite. The building is well designed, rooms are very spacious and have good facilities. The beds were very comfortable and the place was extremely calm. The staff was really friendly and helpful. The atmosphere in the evening was made very cozy with the cracking fire in the fireplace.

Loved the basement parking and the lift which made moving around a dream and my car safe and secure. Will definitely be back!
