The owner and host, Maud, was very kind and thoughtful. She was proactive and clear in her instructions on how to find her property and how to check-in. Despite us getting there later in the evening, she met us upon our arrival and walked us down to the rental property, then gave us keys to the unit and a gate remote. Her cottage was spotlessly clean and cheerfully decorated; it is also elevated on a little hill and feels a bit like you're in the tree tops which was lovely. You are surrounded by trees and grass, and in the morning a very friendly group of chickens and a curious peacock or two will come see what you're up to if you walk around outside. Maud also brought over a great little "picnic" breakfast basket in the morning, which we really really enjoyed. There is also an amazing beach just a few minutes drive down the road from her place; it was rather windy the day we were there, but we saw plenty of other people enjoying walks along the shore.

We did not eve stay for the night, The Lady who came with the keys was very sweet but we just browsed the house but it was perfect, we had double bookings and unfortunately we couldn't stay here and also I didn't get my refund..which is a sad part

Our cottage included a back up supply for electricity for the dreaded load shedding. Truly a memorable and wonderful stay, with wonderful hosts who truly make you feel like you are the most special customer!
