The cottage is spacious and very well equipped. I was happy to have my car securely parked. I was alone, while my husband was having open heart surgery. It is perfectly situated for Vergelegen Mediclinic(6 min drive) in one direction and an equally easy drive to Waterstone. Loadshedding was hardly a problem, as there is a gas stove and various rechargeable lamps in the house. The stress of hospital visits, concerns about a loved one, dissipated each time I came back to this little haven. Cannot recommend it enough!!

Really well equipped, comfortable and cosy home that very easily accommodated 6 of us. Inverter means one hardly notices load shedding. Dirk was really helpful and accommodating; having wood for us to purchase for the fireplace and the braai was very convenient.

My room was lovely and cosy with an added bonus of a fireplace. The staff and host were so helpful and friendly, dinner was amazing set in a lovely cabin feel dinning area. I had a early check out and the staff/host were so accommodating with breakfast before I left. Just wished I had the time to go on some of the walks available on the beautiful secure estate.
