The host was exceptionally helpful and friendly. The location was superb, at the end of the street with a fabulous view of the mountains and exceedingly quiet. Our room had a very large outdoor deck with that aforementioned view. The bathroom was modern with a good size shower alcove. The continental buffet breakfast was professionally prepared, plentiful, with excellent variety (in fact more than anyone could eat in one sitting) and fresh. Anyone for eggs? No trouble. Access to the centre of St Anton on foot was excellent. We had access to the owner's garage to store our motorcycle. A welcome touch. A note for the WiFi "addicts": this was somewhat variable, depending on the location within the building. Not a problem, however not uniform. Not an uncommon finding in mountainous areas.

The property is surprisingly close to the ski slopes and very close to the bus stop that runs every 30min. There is a room to put all your ski gear and heat/dry your ski boots to be ready in the morning as well as an infrared sauna to help with muscle aces and pains. Mikaela, our host, was very friendly and extremely helpful. She suggested slopes for us to go on each morning as we had a group of people with different experience levels and she never disappointed with her suggestions. We had the most amazing stay it felt very homely and welcoming!

This place is beautiful! we stayed for a fantastic week in March 2022 to ski and snowboard in St Anton. It’s immaculately clean, beautifully presented, the beds are SOOO comfy and the owners (who built the chalet and have run it for many years!) are lovely - they don’t speak a single word of English which made for a hilarious almost Fawlty Towers style arrival, but we soon got chatting using lots of hand gestures and Google translate, and felt very welcome and were so sad to have to leave. The location is great - the bus stops at the end of the lane, is very efficient and free during the day so we never felt too ‘out of it’ from the main resort area. It was actually lovely to be slightly removed from the immediate town centre, it’s very peaceful down at the chalet. The wellness centre downstairs is amazing - steam room, sauna, and cascade showers, and loungers to relax after a day on the slopes was awesome. we spent a lot of money going to the outdoor pool in St Anton and shouldn’t have bothered - the facilities on site at the chalet are better!
