Close to everything and there is a lot of things going on between the day and night. It is a very old building, so don't expect the best comfort and luxury. The hostel is really great value especially for this location and the staff are welcoming and made everything very easy. The atmosphere is similar to a big share house rather than a modern hostel chain which also made for a nice experience. We had a great time in Salvador and would stay here again if we return. Thanks!

Franco was so welcoming and hospitable, and very helpful when recommending things to see and do during my stay. The house is very beautiful, clean, and peaceful. The breakfast is delicious. It is a short walk to a lively market area with shops and stores, and around 15 minute walk to the main tourist area. The room is small and cosy, but it works fine. Not luxury, but why would you expect that in this price range anyways? Quiet place, good AC and the wifi works well enough. Nice people running the hotel.
