Jose met us and showed us everything we needed to know. Alarcon was a great stopover on our way to Murcia but it was VERY quiet (which was good and bad) and there was only 2 places to eat in the evening. Nowhere to have breakfast so we were very pleased that we had a self service breakfast (tea/coffee and toast) in the house before heading off. A great place that I'm sure is very busy in the summer.

We also really enjoyed that we could use the kitchen and have breakfast calmly every morning. The owner was very helpful and very friendly. The small town is also very nice, with plaza, several churches, very nice houses, medieval athosphere, and quiet. Our superior room in the Torre de Homenaje was very well and stylishly (modern) equipped, including a Nespresso coffee machine. Personell was freiendly.
