We really enjoyed staying in the Afrikan Kristan hut with outdoor bath and kitchen. It is really calm, quiet and you can see gran canaria after waking up (if you're lucky with the clouds). The owner was very friendly, helpful and always available (WhatsApp) if we had any questions or needed something. We would have stayed longer, if we had known before how we would like it. Our cat loved the garden of banana trees, orange, papaya, citrus trees, herbs and other plants. You can easily reach Teide, Güimes (pyramids), Candelaria (churrería, beach), Santa Cruz and Naga from there. Though, we recommend to have a car, because Arafo is not that busy with the buses. All in all, we would like to come back soon and stay a bit longer :)

Very kind and friendly hosts. Apartment was nice and clean. Great terrace with sofa and chairs in front of apartment with awesome view. Kitchen contained all necessary equipment to cook. Almost to every part of island you get in cca one hour.

So you have to call him and he told you the way and he is very nice to help someone with what you need. and I had no problems sleeping there at night and it is not appropriate that you have to be quiet after 9 pm is not true. can only say that I had a good time while I stay there and he will do everything he can do for you to have a beautiful experience while you stay there

Everything was super clean. If you rent a car, the location is perfect. It is located in a quiet area that is close to the main attraction points in the island (if you want to avoid the “very touristic” places) is perfect. It allowed us to know the Tenerife with beautiful natural areas, with hiking paths and great beaches.
