A gorgeous little village only 5 minutes away from a town that has everything you need..cafes shopping etc. and only 2 .5 hours from Barcelona. Anna our hostess is charming and took great care to see we had all we needed. Our room was a great size and the bed was comfy. The view over to the mountains was stunning. Anna took great care of us and we would recommend Cal Mateu to anyone ...we loved it!!

Peaceful leafy location, gorgeous spacious room and bathroom, with a super comfy bed. Exceptional breakfast - really one of the most enjoyable I've had with a wide selection of food and a lovely setting in the garden. All the staff friendly and helpful and enjoyed a wide-ranging chat with Xavier, the hotel manager. Only complaint - my stay was much too short! I will return again to enjoy Can St Marc and Puigcerdà and the Cerdanya area.
