The house is far from touristic crowds of Playa Blanca which is great, even if you don't have a car like us and rely on hitchhiking. The Ajaches mountains are great for hiking and there are some nice beaches in the area as well. We enjoyed our stay in the oldest house on the island.

Yaiza is a perfect location for visiting the island if you have a car; the street is super quiet and the view is breathtaking! The common spaces (terrazza, swimming pool, gardens) are super cute and typical. We booked the standard room with no balcony, but it was very spacious and super comfortable, with a nice view on the bouganville. Breakfast is served on the terrazza/patio and is very good, with choices of fresh cheese, ham, fruit and bread. We ate at the restaurant a couple of times and it' very nice, good food, maybe a bit pricey but it's worth it.
