We booked this weekend away for my mum and my husband for a surprise 60th + 70t birthday treat. They both absolutely loved the stay and, the staff were exceptional. They definitely would stay again. Receptionist staff were very helpful and were very attentive, and very polite.

Lots of trees and flowering plants in its 5-acre property. Our 3-night stay was very heavenly and relaxing. Pleasureable walking experience from village to village. Highly recommended for a 3~ 5 day Lake District experience.

Very comfortable & clean and in its own beautiful grounds. It is in a nice quiet & peaceful setting but not too far from Ambleside and within walking distance of Brockhole where you can take part in the activities or walk around the gardens or go on a boat to Ambleside or Bowness The staff at the hotel are so friendly and welcoming and the food is lovely. We really enjoyed our stay here. Thank you for making us feel so welcome.
