Located just 20 km from Aintree Racecourse, Briars Hall Hotel provides accommodation in Burscough with access to a garden, a bar, as well as a concierge service. This 3-star country house offers a 24-hour front desk, full-day security and free WiFi. Featuring family rooms, this property also provides guests with a children's playground.

We arrived late but were greeted by a lovely gentleman who quickly got us into our room. The room was exceptionally clean, and the bed as extremely comfortable and after traveling for nearly 20 hours we had a very restful night's sleep. Breakfast in the morning was everything that I hoped it would be. The service was quick and efficient, the food was fresh and delicious. We did walk around the property in the morning before we left and it is stunning. I can only imagine how beautiful it must be as a wedding venue. I would hesitate to recommend this property.

Stayed as a family of 4 (kids aged 13 and 16 and 1 dog). Superb little bungalow on a quiet road with off street parking. The property was extremely clean and well kitted out. Lovely touch of welcome note with snacks and dog treats. Excellent communication with the owner throughout the booking process. Will definitely be staying again.

Good size, very quiet area, nice enclosed garden good for dog, modern, clean, well equipped. Owner lives in the other half so if you have any issues they are on sight. Per friendly but If you are travelling with a dog there is a £15 charge but that isn't clear on booking so be aware and take some cash.

Well away from the main road , so quiet and peaceful . Plenty of parking space . Very useful small shop incorporated . Dining-room reasonably spacious , with kitchen attached . We ate in the garden as the weather was sunny , both our snack in the evening ( very kindly prepared specially , as we arrived too late for the service ), and our breakfast . This facility presumably is a consequence of COVID , but I hope it is retained . We got back on the road , feeling rested . A clean , comfortable stay , with all facilities .
