Gorgeous scenic country views, lovely room, delicious breakfast, Bay room windows were a perfect picture frame, comfy beds, and wonderful aesthetic! Would love to come back and stay here longer in the southwest of Scotland!

Quiet country retreat, main building full of original features, feeling of staying in a classic 60s country hotel. Breakfasts were excellent, staff were a delight, nothing was too much trouble. Rooms are comfortable - this is is not a 5 star hotel but the furnishings were above our expectations. The countryside around is unspoiled and beautiful, Galloway is a secret the Scots appear to want to keep to themselves.... ;-)
