Very tastefully decorated and clean property, handsome both outside and inside. Spacious parking. Greeted upon arrival by John and Sue, who made us feel very welcome right away. Every room smelled nice, beds clean and comfy, and there's a charming reading nook at the top of the stairs. Breakfast was beautifully done, tasty, prepared hot and carefully timed to arrive when each visitor was ready for the main course. Cereal, toast and yoghurt already present on a side table to start the meal off. Tea and coffee offered immediately upon entering the pretty and cosy dining room by our friendly and attentive hosts. Good view of a lovely garden and the green hills beyond. Peggy the pooch is always game for a good head scratch and a game of catch. Be sure to say hi!

We just stayed over night so can't really comment on anything else but the room which was clean and spacious. We liked the location out in the nowhere because we just needed a quiet night where no heavy traffic was involved. Absolutely recommend to those who need a peaceful night 🌙. Excellent price, comfy bed, tv, fan, heater.

Lovely comfortable barn, ideal for a couple. Nicely laid out. Really quiet location, set back from the road behind a field. Only a 20 minute walk into Stratford and on a regular bus route. We felt we had the benefits of a countryside stay with amenities nearby. Local Spar is well stocked with Cook meals which came in handy when we didn’t want to venture out. We enjoyed using the vintage record player and selection of vinyl.

Location brilliant as could walk or get the train into Stratford. Lovely peaceful village and good easy car parking. Room was so quiet I don't think I've slept like that for ages. No noisy aircon or weird lights you sometimes get. Could keep the room nice and cool as just normal radiator and windows.

We really enjoyed our peaceful 2 night break in a very pretty part of the English countryside. Our hosts were lovely, friendly and welcoming without being intrusive. It was an extra plus seeing the lambing shed in action, especially a cuddle of lamb number 47 who was only hours old. Our room was comfortable, clean and warm with plenty of hot water and a generous supply of tea, coffee, cake and biscuits.

The hotel is a stunning beautifully restored country mansion, like a French Chateaux in the English countryside. Everything is superbly maintained and presented by very professional and friendly staff. Staying here was an enjoyable and memorable experience.
