The 2 bedroom flat I rented was on the ground floor. This was perfect for me, since I liked to be part of the normal Cretan life with local people around. I had 2 family members staying with me for a week. The flat was good size for 3 people. I felt I was in the countryside, waking up to sounds such as a rooster etc. Two beaches were near. It was in a very good location, accross from a good supermarket and a short walk to the sea.The only problem is that is was a noisy road and I go to bed early so it was a bit noisy but I'm sure other rooms were quieter.

The room is tidy and clean. Our bedsheets and towels were clean. Although we did not use the kitchen, utensils are countryside kind of style. Parking is a bit small but useful, but a van for 9 persons fitted into the tight space. A swimming pool looks clean, did not use it. A countryside felling during our stay and enjoyed it too.

The windows had mosquito nets, which was a big plus! Post office and two big supermarkets one block away, smaller mini market across the road. Tucked away (a 10-minute walk away) from the touristic center, good restaurants even closer on the Ammos beach/harbor.
