From the moment you walk in you get that 5 star feel... The room was absolutely gorgeous, very clean, and pristine. The bathroom was sparkling, spacious and felt like a show room. Everything works as it should and we had some lovely complementary goodies left in the fridge. The bed was comfortable, memory foam mattress so I could sleep comfortably on my side. My wife who never reviews couldn't wait to speak highly of the place. Breakfast was great too lovely little home made breaky... If visiting Kilkenny I wouldn't stay anywhere else... value for money, homely charm, lovely host and exceptional home...

Central location but a quiet room. Really comfy bed and bath tub to give it a taste of luxury. Great ala carte breakfast and a bit less inspiring continental buffet for a tasty start for the day.

The location was amazing so close to the main town and all the amenities literally all around you . The pool, sauna , steamroom and jacuzzi were a fantastic bonus after a long day and especially for a hotel so close to the centre that you wouldn't expect such facilities. Very peaceful and quiet in rooms /outside on road despite being a busy location. I also liked the bottles of water in my room that were not made of plastic it was nice to see.

The accommodation and location were ideal set in quiet and serene, lovely Irish countryside. Our host, Mike was there to greet us and show us around. The wonderful welcome included a supply of food which enabled us to make a snack after our journey. We had a most enjoyable and memorable stay. As I am not familiar with this part of Ireland I am planning to return at some point to explore further and will have no hesitation in staying at Knochreagh again. Thank you Mike for a delightful stay!

Very atmospheric, the hostel is located in the historical part of the city with an old house and it is a very interesting option. The room is normal quiet and peaceful. The toilet and shower rooms are clean. Only the repair is maximally mediocre and not qualitative. From pleasant surprises teas different, coffee, hot chocolate, cereals, milk, cake, even butter is (maybe we were so lucky that day) but in fact you can say that breakfast included turned out. All in all it was very good, I recommend it.

A wonderfully peaceful getaway after a tough day of sightseeing. Only minutes from town but far enough to feel you are in the countryside. Ger and Mary were wonderful hosts, room was excellent and breakfast was great!

Set on the expansive grounds of a former countryside schoolhouse, the chalet is roomy, comfortable, spotlessly clean, and kitted out with all possible mod-cons. The setting is perfect for nature lovers and is quiet and ever so cosy. Lillie is a wonderful hostess, welcoming guests with her genuine warmth and approachability, and always attentive to every possible need. All of the treats in the kitchen and fridge were delightful. I cannot recommend this place enough!
