The hotel is in a beautiful location, with nice views all around. The conditions for the aurora weren't right when we were there, but I'm sure that if the solar activity is high, you'd have spectacular Northern lights here! We had a dinner in the restaurant (both the lamb and horse were good), and breakfast was good in the morning.

Very good isolation of the chalet, it was very cold outside (-10c) but we were very warm inside. No noise, no neighbours, very quiet and peaceful. We could access a lot of landmarks within 2 hours drive and explore the region. The breakfast was amazing and the restaurant was very pleasant and peaceful for the breakfast. There is a mini town near by to fuel and buy snacks when needed.

I was upgraded to a bigger cottage .. It was perfecttttttt ... the location, the scenery, facilities ... it has windows all around so perfect for aurora watching with family...there's a complete guide to all facilties, it was quiet, peaceful ... It was raining else I'm sure I would've seen auroras dancing!
