Surrounded by mountains and fields of grass, guests at Farm Inn Anima no Sato stay in simple accommodations. Guests can experience living at a farm and make handmade crafts. JR Abashiri Train Station is a 5-minute drive and Memanbetsu Airport is a 30-minute drive away.

The hosts were by far the nicest people I had met in Japan for half a year of my stay here. The plum sake, the warm futon bed futon and the long conversation by the wood-stove were amazing and warmed up both my body and my soul after a long day of winter sightseeing. The oto-san kindly saw me off to the station when the buses had stopped and the oka-san explained me one of their family sake recipes. Will absolutely come here again in summer.

The owners were so kind and helpful, I really enjoyed our chats! The place was very homey, and nice and warm in the winter. Thank you for having me!

Countryside hostel close to the train and bus station (15min walk) and the sea. Very nice owners, kitchen could be used, easy to meet other travelers. Sleeping place was an area under the roof for a lot of people (can get a bit noisy if people snore), but for one night ok. Make sure to bring food as there is no store.

it is a guesthouse, in the countryside. there are dormitory and private room. the staff are friendly. there is no meals but you can bring your own and dine in the common rest area. the highlight was the Goemonburo, 五右衛門風呂 (Cauldron Bath) outside. We enjoyed it very much. it is old and a bit messy inside, but it is the charm of the place.
