I really like the minimalist/japnanese style of the rooms and the common area. The beds were comfortable and cozy, We had a great sleep after 4 days of hiking Kumano Kodo. The self check-in was quick and easy. There is only two rooms, which is nice and not a problem for the shared bathroom and kitchen. Also, we shipped our backpacks in advance because we didn't carry them on our last day of hiking, and this was not an issue with the hotel, they were able to keep them in the co-working area.

This hotel is an easy walk from the Kii Katsuura train / bus stations. Quiet but right across the street from the tuna market & auction. Good location. No elevator. Kitchen facilities and washer & dryer on 2nd floor. Small breakfast cafe next door and a Lawson [has ATM] across the side street.

    1. Good Sea view especially sunset (even though I am too busy outside and no chance to see it.) 2. 1st floor room size is big that including a living room with a sofa, refrigerator, TV, Drying rack and also a Queen size bed which I feel very comfortable. 3. They have 3 washing machines and 2 drying machines that is free to use That helped me a lot to wash my sweaty clothes. 4. Price is cheap. 5. Owner is a old couple but very nice to introduce their property as much as they can in Japanese. 6.Quiet

Location is across the street from the train station. The bus stop for Nara falls is 5 minutes away. Plenty of restaurants, coffee shops very near. Quiet and relaxing place.

Not too major like Urashima, so relatively quiet and a comfort "onsen" hotel.

We LOVED staying at Midtown Sakura Apartment, lovely quiet location hosted by Toshimi, who also showed us around and brought us to Nachi Falls! Wonderful stay for the price and for everything that comes with it!

Onsen facilities were great! Rooms were well maintained despite the slightly dated facade, which actually adds to the charm of being in japan’s countryside. Location was accessible via car without any issues.

The property had an onsen. The room was a traditional tatami room with futons to sleep in. We needed to have luggage moved to another guest house as we were trekking, and the weight of our backpacks would have slowed us down. The guest house staff arranged for a transport company to collect out packs the next day and it arrived at the destination the same day. Brilliant service and so grateful for their help.

Great convenient location right next to the train station. You'd never know from the exterior laneway that such a lovely chic apartment was there. Great facilities for coffee making. Beautiful, spacious, clean, quiet, modern, private apartment. The owner was very sociable and spoke very good English. There is a restaurant downstairs. The meals were ok, but I think they may have been having problems with staffing.
