Casa Conduto is THE place to stay on Madeira. The view is breathtaking and absolutely worth it. There were fresh fruits and water waiting for us which was a really nice gesture. The house is clean and well maintained and has all the equipment you need. We can only recommend this place.

A 25 minute drive to Funchal to the east and a 25 minute drive to Porto Monitz to the north-west was ideal. In addition, the hotel was very easy to get to and parking facilities were excellent. The dinner at the restaurant was very nice as well as our daily breakfast. The view from our room as well as the restaurant patio is stunning throughout the day.

It had beautiful views, was so quiet, secluded and peaceful with fig trees and overlooking a veg garden. It was very clean, had pretty much everything you needed. Three mins walk from a lovely village pizza place and a. 10-15 min walk to a well stocked small supermarket. One note of caution: you really need a car if you are staying here as it is way up the hill side in Loreto. All in all a wonderful place for relaxation.
