There is no better view than at Atlantis Country House! The location is central on Madeira and the center of Calheta is a 5-minute drive. The apartment is nice and cozy furnished. It's a shame we were both sick; During our stay in our previous apartment we got a stomach flu. So we were actually 'stuck' in paradise during our stay at Atlantis Country House. The owner was kind enough to drop off groceries (and toilet paper;-) because we were too sick to drive to the center of Calheta. It was a great place to be stuck, but of course it would have been much better if we had been able to see more of Madeira. Fortunately, we have already been there 7 times and had already seen most of it.

Casa Conduto is THE place to stay on Madeira. The view is breathtaking and absolutely worth it. There were fresh fruits and water waiting for us which was a really nice gesture. The house is clean and well maintained and has all the equipment you need. We can only recommend this place.

The pool was lovely, but not heated, so more for a brisk refreshing swim. It’s very quiet in the location too so you can enjoy a peaceful stay. Close to Calheta with good restaurants and a nice marina. Marcos was an amazing host and shared so much information with us including all his favourite restaurants. He was also available to help us out and answer questions we had, and give us some good tips. The photos don’t do it justice!
