Perfect location right at the bank of the Furnas Lake. The house is bigger than the photos show. Super tall ceilings with big windows and plenty of space to stretch out and enjoy the views. As part of the amenities there is a washer/dryer in the garage, kayaks and bicycles and the key to off-hours access to the garden. Take a path to the waterfall - it is magnificent. The view from the terrace was breathtaking and definitely the highlight of our stay in Ribeira Quente. We were delighted to receive a welcome gift upon arrival, and the apartment was spotlessly clean and the kitchen was very well equipped. However, accessing the apartment with a car was quite difficult. It would have been nice to have more toiletries and a hair dryer available for guest use. Despite these minor inconveniences, we had a wonderful time and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a peaceful retreat with a stunning view.

Our stay at the guesthouse was absolutely delightful. From the exceptional hospitality of the hostess to the magnificent breakfast made from fresh local produce, particularly the homemade dishes by Fatima herself, every aspect exceeded our expectations. Our child even likened the experience to that of a five-star hotel, only much cozier. When we return to San Miguel, we will definitely choose to stay here again.
