There are three separate properties on premises and it may not be super clear initially which one you are booking so pay close attention. Stayed at the smallest one which is plenty big to accommodate our family of 5. Amazing views from the porch. There is a large garden where you can walk around. Lots of farm animals nearby. Everything you may need is provided (washer/dryer, towels, etc).

An amazing location, beautiful grounds, the pods are private and clean and comfortable, the owner is no nice and helpful, he also responds really quickly to any questions, very warm and welcoming atmosphere, there is a gym and a sauna, laundry on site, a pool, so much to see and do, it’s close to the city but very quiet with beautiful gardens. The private pods are like having your own small apartment, they put a bed in the living room for my daughter (very thoughtful and appreciated), the kitchen is fully stocked with small appliances and dishes, it would be very easy to prepare meals, the bathroom is large and the master bedroom has a very big comfy bed. We are very impressed and can’t wait to come back!

This is a great place to stay - a beautiful house with a unique character and very nice people. The hosts - Paula and Joao were so hospitable and helpful and did their best to make our stay comfortable. The location is very convenient - you can easily get to any place of the island.

The hotel is well situated near the Ponta Delgada and centrally located to most of the island's attractions. Caroline and Ali are fabulous hostesses, and the staff is very friendly and helpful. The rooms are simple but nicely done; the outdoor hot shower was really excellent. We were able to check in as early as 8 am. Caroline communicated with us from the day of the booking and helped with dinner arrangements. Breakfast was really nice, with most of the local food. The Gin Library introduced us to the world's unheard amount of gins, and Ali is a great entertainer and a big gin admirer.

We loved everything about this place - it was so relaxing to be there and the housekeeper was so sweet. Only wished we could have stayed in the main guest space. Will do that next time with friends. Thank you for everything.

This was a great start of our vacation. Apart from the buildings being special because of their history, the location & view from the hill was spectacular. Owner Bernard was so friendly to tell us about the history of the building and land, which turned out to be in his family for the last 400 years. It's located in a beautiful rural garden. My partner loves classic & vintage design, and thorough the guesthouses were hints of that. So that was also a big bonus. Would definitely book here again if we ever visit São Miguel again.

The property is very well maintained, apartments are roomy and welcoming, each having a modern kitchen. You can see the ocean from the pool/barbeque common area.

Everything was brand new and thoroughly decorated. Very cozy and colorful home. The staff was super nice and friendly. The garden is very pretty, great for exploring.
