This was perfection for me. Loved the room, the setting, the Roman road just off the back gate to walk to Monsanto. I loved Ingrid’s hospitality & wonderful breakfast. And then there was the in room massage with Morgana. Exploring Monsanto from here was magical.

As such, all local Monsanto sights are within walking distance. The staff was friendly and helpful with suggestions and answering questions. Out room and bathroom was very spacious. The neighborhood was quiet and our bed and pillows comfortable so we slept well. Breakfast was good with many different food selections. Highly recommend, would stay again.

Quinta da Pedra Grande is a very peaceful setting, well maintained and the courtyard has a little seated area and table to sit at and enjoy the outdoors. The continental breakfast was exactly to my taste and presented well. Our host looked after us very well and provided extra pillows on request.

Right in the heart of Monsanto and walking distance to everything you need to see including hiking trails. Amazing fireplace and we loved the ancient boulder inside the house that it is built around. We cannot say enough lovely things about the hosts. They were very accommodating; by helping us with anything we needed, housekeeping services, and bringing delicious food for us.
