This is the cutest place to stay - located within the walls of the castle but easily accessible since the car can stop a few meters away to drop off passengers and luggages. The views are stunning and inside it's much bigger than it looks - we only took 2 of 4 rooms in the house, there are also 2 living rooms and a dinning area, as well as a fully equipped kitchen. The place was tidy when we got there and we felt most comfortable during our stay.

It has excellent rooms, very comfortable and quiet. It is an impressive building in the middle of the fields some kilometers from the city of Monsaraz. Breakfast included good food options. It was very chilly outside but the heater in the room allowed us to control the conditions. Staff turned down our beds while we were at dinner. When we returned we found they had also put hot water bottles under the covers to warm up. Nice touch!

Everything was clean and neat, the pool and surroundings are incredible with Alqueva always on the sight, breakfast is very tasty and fresh, staff was 100% friendly and nice on all occasions, always with a smile on their faces, all of them have spoiled our little dog (Ellie) including the other sweet dogs in the villa. all in all, absolutely recommend it - peaceful, quiet and full of positivity, where you can really connect with nature!

It is the perfect location - very quiet and has the luxury of car parking at the door. A beautiful bedroom with a super comfortable bed and quality bedding. We enjoyed the private terrace - which affords lovely views over the valley. The kitchen is equipped with all that we required and there was nice welcome gifts from the host. Everywhere spotlessly clean.
