We are very grateful for our experience at Breb’s cosy barn! We felt our childhood memories from the countryside a bit more alive here. There’s something so traditionally relaxing but yet the place has a modern touch/ twist and the apartment is tastefully decorated. I haven’t had the chance to ask much about the several paintings/ prints representing local/ traditional activities that were present in almost every room but I plan to document that during the next visit. If you are passionate about art there are a few art albums in the library you can check out to refresh your art sense or knowledge. The silence, the light, the space, the vibe all are positive and relaxing. Hostess very friendly and helpful. Accommodation in historic wooden cottages in park like surroundings but tastefully renovated. No luxury but homely. Duck and goose pond within grounds. Very quiet area (except when geese got exited) Food: Wow! Meals were taken in a B&B under same ownership. I was treated to wonderful traditional dinner with local distilled alcohol (I couldn't drink much as I had to drive back to my quarters). Breakfast the next day was also a local feast.
