My mattress was sooooo comfortable-much better than my mattress at home. I loved the shabby chic look and some of the repurposed furniture.I had my own cottage and it was so cozy at the top of the hill and quiet. We complimented the house keeper on the cleanliness. (other family stayed in other cottages)

The location was perfect for us and we loved the quirkiness of the establishment. This was just what we were looking for. Quiet, personal, and totally relaxing within a city centre environment. Was just perfect.

Wonderful two night stay! Keith was really helpful and welcoming! He had lots of local recommendations, made me feel at home and even showed us some magic tricks in the evening, which was fun. Bed was comfy and clean. Kitchen was well equipped. Good location, quiet but shops, restaurants and bars in walking distance. Plenty of hiking trails a short drive away. Definitely recommend and would come again!

This place is just gorgeous! So much history! It is a beautiful property that has everything you need. You never have to leave for anything if you don't want to. The food was great at the Blue Ridge and Edison. Our room had a great view of the mountains and so quiet! We just loved everything about it! All the staff are super friendly and helpful!
